You will need
- For cooking pasta, use:
- 300 g of pasta;
- half a teaspoon of sunflower oil;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- electric steamer with rice bowl.
- For cooking pasta with meat should:
- 400 g pasta;
- 500 g chicken fillet;
- 1 onions;
- 60 g of butter;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- black pepper to taste;
- plate;
- spoon;
- knife;
- steamer.

Keep in mind that when cooking in a double boiler the steam will simply heat the water in which the pasta is cooked, same as usual, but at a temperature of 75-85 degrees. Therefore, the pasta can stick together. To avoid this, choose a pasta made only of durum wheat. Purchase dense pasta large size.

Fill lower part of double boiler the required amount of water. Install the top of the double boiler. Take a bowl for cooking rice and add back the pasta. Fill them with water so that its level was approximately 1 cm above the level of pasta. Add in a bowl the vegetable oil and salt. Vegetable oil will help prevent sticking of pasta.

Cover the steamer with a lid and turn it on. Cook the pasta for about 20 minutes. Then turn off the steamer, remove the pasta and rinse with warm water. This procedure will help remove excess starch and the pasta will not stick together.

Put pasta on a plate and serve it as a side dish. Sprinkle cheese, spread with ketchup or another sauce depending on your culinary preferences. You can also sprinkle the pasta with chopped fresh herbs, mixed with garlic.

Try to cook in the steamer pasta with chicken. For this little boil them in advance in the usual way, but not until tender. Chicken meat cut in small pieces, add salt, pepper it and put in a bowl. Onion cut into thin rings and add to the meat.

Turn off the crockpot, stir the finished dish, remove, lay it on plates. Serve hot, previously sprinkled with herbs. Garnish the dish with slices of tomatoes or sweet red pepper.
