1
To copy files from one folder to another, place these folders next to each other. Then move the mouse pointer to the file in the source folder. Click and hold the left mouse button and the Ctrl button on the computer. Drag the copied file in the destination folder, release the mouse button and keyboard. Check: to see if the copied file in the destination folder – it may have to run the command "Update" is called from the context menu (by pressing the right mouse button).
2
If at the same time to place on the desktop the two folders is problematic or the above method does not work, use an alternative method. To do this, specify the mouse cursor to copy the file, press the right mouse button, and then click the context (drop-down) menu, "Copy". Then open the target folder, place the mouse pointer in any empty area of this folder and execute the context command 'Paste'. Check the copied file in the target folder. When you copy files this way, please note that the mouse cursor was pointing it at the empty space of the target folder. Otherwise, the copied file can get into a subdirectory of the target folder or try to "subscribe" to someone's files.
3
Please note that when you select Copy, a physical copy of the file contents is not possible. Really, the information begins to be copied only when running the command "Paste". Therefore, do not delete or disable removable media (flash drives, CD and DVD drives, etc.) until the desired file will not appear in the target folder.
4
If the copied information is very important, you duplicate the copy process on several different media. If this is not possible, create on the flash drive (disk, diskette) additional (nested) folder and copy the file again. If applicable, check – open the copied file and briefly review its contents. Check the quality of the recording file, it is desirable to produce not on the device that produced the record, and for the same. This is especially true for floppy disks, since floppy drive is usually good reads recorded on the floppy disk, but refuses to read "alien".
5
When copying files, copy exactly files, not shortcuts (which often differ externally from files only in the presence of the arrows in the lower left corner). Avoid the common error of beginners who, gathering on the flash drive all the shortcuts from the desktop, I guess copied from the computer all the information.
