How to run process explorer

Process explorer.exe is responsible for the GUI of the operating system. If it is not running, Windows will not display the "start menu", desktop components and other graphical components of the operating system. Of course, this process is automatically started. When the graphical interface of the operating system is disabled to run programs using task Manager. Operating system Windows XP the task Manager will start immediately after pressing Ctrl-Shift-Esc. If you are using Windows 7 then press Ctrl-Alt-Del, after which a window will appear in which you can select the task Manager.

In task Manager click on the component File. Then, in the ensuing menu, select "New task". Then enter the name of the process explorer.exe. After that, he should immediately start. If this file is corrupted you will receive error notification. In a situation if it does will be missing in the folder with the operating system nothing will happen. In such cases, this file need to be reinstalled.

The operation of replacing or restoring the file must occur in safe mode. You also need to have a disc with the operating system distribution.
