To restore Office documents stipulating the function, allowing to restore a file from backup that runs regularly through periods of time while working with the fileom. Accordingly, you can run the last of the automatically saved versions of your document.

This function is available if your program is set to AutoSave every ... minutes". Also you need to enable the option in settings "automatically Save the latest version if the file was closed without saving".

Connect these functions and then if you accidentally close a file without saving, you can easily restore the latest version, stored by the program.

Open the Microsoft Office application in which you are not able to keep the previous file (e.g. Word or Excel) and then open the menu "File" and select the Last filey". Then select the option "Recover unsaved documents" or "Recover unsaved workbooks".

In Power Point the program will ask you to recover an unsaved presentation. A new window will open in which you will see auto-saved drafts. Select any file and open it and then select the menu option "Save as".

In addition, restore the file by choosing the menu "File" the option "Information" and then "versioning". In the opened window, click on recover unsaved documents.
