How to record video from disc to computer

If you are going to record a simple video (not DVD or Blu-ray disc) such as DVD Rip. In this situation, video is a specific file. Accordingly, this file need to transfer to the hard drive of the computer. Click the right mouse button and in context menu choose "Copy".

After that just right click on the folder in which you want to record this video. Then just click "Paste". Will start the process of recording your chosen file to the hard drive. Thus, you can copy the disc you need video.

If you need to copy several video files, you can highlight them using the left mouse button or by pressing the Ctrl key. Just hold Ctrl and then click the left mouse button on the desired video. Then the last file press the right mouse button.

To capture video from a DVD or Blu-ray disk is better to use a special program. Download from the Internet program Nero. Install it on the hard drive of the computer. After this, run the Nero Burning Rom. On top of the main window is an arrow. Clicking on this arrow, you can select the media type that will be performed the operation. As media type, select DVD.

Insert the disc with the video in the optical drive. Then select DVD Copy and go to the tab "Image". Then click the browse button and select the folder to which data will be stored after recording. Uncheck the box next to "Delete image file after copy". Then go to the tab "Recording".

The top section is called "Action". In this section, select the check box next to the line "Record", then click "Copy". Will start the procedure of copying video to your hard disk. Upon completion information will be in your chosen folder.
