Instruction
1
If I bought a cheap consumer camera, so-called "soapbox , pay attention to its equipment. Perhaps the strap is already attached to the body or is in the box together with other supplied equipment. This camera is small in size and is usually attached to a small strap, whereby the device can be hung on the wrist. The strap can be embedded into the camera or attached to a small mount on the body, like a cell phone.
2
You have a prosumer or professional camera, such as Canon 1000D, Canon 550D, Canon 7D, Nikon D90, etc. the Mechanical structure of the housings of such devices are similar to each other, even in terms of mounting optics, and even more in terms of belts. On the upper part of the body symmetrically at the sides of the optical viewfinder are two small fastening belt. Most likely, the straps of such devices you have to buy separately. The belt could be designed to carry the camera over your shoulder or on your wrist, but attached would be the same, regardless of type.
3
The two ends of the belt are thin strips. They need to put in holes for mounting, which are mentioned paragraph above. Fasten and adjust the length as you see fit. Securely fasten seat belt, provided that the apparatus is loose, it may fall to, it would damage the optics and internal mechanics or electronics. If it is difficult to find the fastening on the housing, refer to the user manual.
