Instruction
1
Start by adding your Prior on smooth ground at a distance of 5 meters from a smooth wall. Pour a full tank of gas and with a pressure gauge to check the tire pressure. If it is to deviate from the norm – make sure to adjust it to the nominal. Inspect headlights and, if necessary, thoroughly wipe them from contamination. After that, turn on the light and see if the lights are working. If not – replace them with new ones.
2
When everything is ready and tested, you can proceed to the adjustment. Turn the lever of the width of the illumination of headlights in position "0". It corresponds to the load of the vehicle only with a driver. Turn the headlights on and wiggle the car from side to side. This will allow all the parts to take a natural position. Ask the person about your weight, to sit behind the wheel of a car.
3
Now start drawing on the wall with special markings for adjustment. Draw on the wall to the centerline so that the distance from the centers of the headlights before her was the same. Then find the center of each of the headlamps, check them on the wall with dots and swipe through them with 2 vertical lines. Between them draw a straight line and mark it as A. Parallel to it at the bottom at distances of 12 and 22 cm below the 2 lines.
4
Switch on the low beam and cover one of them with plywood. The upper limit of the light spot of the lights should coincide with the middle horizontal line B. the Boundaries of the luminous patches of fog lights needs to be on the line V.
5
Make sure that the intersections of the horizontal and inclined parts of the boundary of the light spots (breaking point of the light beam) coincide with a vertical line drawn through the point corresponding to the center of the spotlight. If there are any discrepancies, make adjustments to their position vertically and horizontally, twisting the screws under the hood of the car with a hex wrench "6".
