Instruction
1
Explain to your child that it is not enough just to write down the essay topic, you should also indicate briefly the recommendations of teachers. The fact is that often teachers put low grade even for a good job just because it does not meet your requirements. Recommendations may relate to structure, composition, processing, nature of the content, use of sources, etc.
2
Remember, you have only to advise, to help, to teach, but not do the work for the child. It's okay if he at first turns out badly. Let you think that your child is given too difficult tasks, or that he will not have time to write an essay on time. Even the most obedient and responsible children fairly quickly get used to the fact that the lessons could not be done, as there are sure good parents will perform everything yourself.
3
Do not allow your child to write a composition once in the clean copy. Let him first make a draft, then you read it together with the baby, point out the mistakes that he made, and will help to fix them. Only after the work will be modified appropriately, allow them to rewrite it in clean copy. Carefully study the text, be sure to explain to the student what he did wrong and why, but not fix bugs silently. Do it quietly, without reproach, and especially no swearing, otherwise the process of writing essays will turn into torture.
4
If the child cannot write an essay, try to work with them to speculate on a given topic, to build a logical train of thought. For example, if you want to write a standard essay about how the kid has spent the summer, remind him the most pleasant moments, talk about them, help the child determine what things you need to write and in what sequence.
5
Do not allow your child to write other people's texts and teach them how to work with the writings of critics. To write some essays need quotes poets, writers, philosophers, etc., but this does not mean that the student must do account of the work of another person. Help him to Express his own thoughts, to understand that the source should not serve as the basis of all compositions. First, the child must learn to think for themselves, and secondly, if he would just rewrite in your own words someone else's work, the teacher is sure to notice and is unlikely to put a high rating.
