How to hide folders on your computer

It so happens that one computer is shared by multiple people. And of course there are always files that are unwanted to the General public. Therefore there is a need to somehow hide. It is not always possible to create a second account.

Instruction

1. For the first method only need to create a folder and populate it with data to be hidden. Click on it right mouse button and select properties. Downstairs there is a parameter attributes. Tick-box tick "hidden".
2. Click to refresh the page, and the folder disappears. In order to see it you must open any folder and carry out the procedure of opening hidden folders. Click tools, folder options, view tab. Move the slider to the bottom, find the option hidden files and folders. Select "show hidden files and folders". Click "OK" and go to the directory where your hidden folder.
3. Proceed to the second method. Click on the folder, right click and choose rename. Erase the name of the folder and, holding down the "alt" input on the right numeric keypad 0160.
4. Push again, right-click on the folder, select "properties". Enter in the "settings" tab then "change icon". Scrolling the slider to the right until you find three transparent label. Choose any of them. Push approx. This will allow you to hide your folder from prying eyes, and keep it right on your desktop.
