For starters, make hidden folder visible. To do this, call the component "Properties of a folder". This can be done in one of several ways. Click the "start" button and select "control Panel". In the category "appearance and themes" click the "Properties folder" with the left mouse button.

Another option. Open any (visible) folder from any directory on your computer. In the top menu bar, select "Service". In the drop down menu click on "Properties folder" with the left mouse button. This will open a new dialog box.

In the opened window go to the tab "View". Using the scroll bar under "advanced settings", find "Hidden files and folders". Set the marker in the box next to "Show hidden files and folders".

Often there are hidden system files and folders, the data of which is drawn with the work of your operating system. If the folder belongs to the category system, can in the same advanced window to remove the marker from the field in the line "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)". This action is not required, display system files and folders can be set up in the window folder Windows.

After making changes, click "Apply" in the properties window for the new settings took effect and close the window by clicking the OK button or the icon [x] in the upper right corner of the window.

Navigate to the directory where your hidden folder. After changing the settings it will become translucent. Click on the icon of a folder , right-click and select menu item "Properties". This will open a new dialog box.

In the opened window "Properties: [name of your folder]" click on the "General" tab and remove marker from the field opposite the inscription "Hidden" under "Attributes". Apply the new settings by clicking on the "Apply" button, close the properties window by any of the methods described above.
