You will need
- 1 Cup milk, 4 tablespoons sugar, 2 egg yolks, 1 tablespoon vanilla

Mix the sugar with the egg yolks and beat with a mixer or whisk until frothy

Heat the milk but do not bring it to a boil

Slowly, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, pour in the beaten egg yolks with the sugar in the warmed milk

Put on low heat and bring the mixture until thick

Allow to cool at room temperature and place in freezer for 4-5 hours
Useful advice
To the finished ice cream you can add fruit, chopped nuts, biscuits. You can also sprinkle them with chocolate or caramel.
