How to find the folder in the computer

Very often, a PC user have to search for the desired files and folders. It sometimes fails immediately to do because of the huge number of files and folders on the computer. In this article you will learn how to find the desired folder on the computer among multiple files and folders.

The name of the folder you are looking for.

Go to the menu "start" on the toolbar. Find the item "Find" choose "files and folders". Before us there is a search box. In order to find the desired folder on the computer need to know the exact name of the folder.

So, suppose that we know the exact name of the folder. In the left part of the search window write the name of the folder. Or if you do not remember the name of the folder, just below the enter word or phrase in any file in the folder.

Then choose where we look for. Find the item "search in" and click on the arrow. We have a drop-down menu appears where we choose the search space. Just below can be selected when a file was modified, file size or any other parameters that are available in the search window.

Then press the "Find" button. The search begins. You need to wait some time. In the right side of the search results appear. Which specifies the name of the folder, the place where the computer it is located. That's all, the folder with the files found. Enjoy working on the computer.
