To make the cucumbers yourself, you will need a small size cucumbers, herbs (dill, horseradish, currant leaves or cherry) and garlic.
With cucumbers cut off the ends, peel the garlic, wash them and rinse under clean water above mentioned spices.
Prepare a brine in the following proportions, 2 tablespoons of salt per liter of water.
Pour over boiling water, glass jars, and after we put the first herbs, then a bit of garlic, and only then cucumbers. Pour contents of the jar with the brine and add more spices. Tighten the lid not necessary, just to cover their necks cans. After a day of standing at room temperature it is already possible to eat salted cucumbers.
But if you wait a day unbearable, a few additional to taste freshly-salted cucumbers can be done in just 10 minutes. Cut the vegetable lengthwise into 4 slices, after cutting off the ends. Place them in a container with a tight lid. Cucumbers should fill only half the volume. Sprinkle with salt, dill, garlic and add a little sugar, and then strongly shake the container when closed, of course, cover for about 10 minutes. And salted cucumbers are ready.
