Instruction
1
Determine what wall thickness you plan to lay brick. Depending on the number of bricks the thickness may be 120 mm (half-brick), 250 mm (brick), 380 mm (half brick), 510 (two bricks), 640 mm (two-and-a-half bricks). In the middle band is rational to build a house with walls in two or two-and – a-half-brick- that is, the thickness of 510 mm or 640 mm.
2
Calculate the perimeter of the wall you plan to put, and their height. This is done with a tape measure, when measuring the count with a small margin.
3
Find out the area of the walls of the future building. This perimeter must be multiplied by the estimated height of the walls. After obtaining the total area of the walls by a similar formula to calculate the area of each window and doorway. Add all these figures and get a figure which will not be busy with brickwork.
4
Subtract from the total area of wall area of window and door openings and get the number for the area of brickwork in square metres.
5
To determine the required number of bricks you need to calculate the number of bricks based on their size. For masonry use single (length 250 mm, width 120 mm, height 65 mm), one and a half (and one half 250x120x88 mm) and double (250х120х138мм) bricks. This files most often for construction of houses used single brick.
6
Square meter of wall, nested in a half-brick, consists of: 51 PCs. (single brick), 39 PCs. (single), 26 (double). In order to find the necessary masonry of the whole building number of bricks, the area of masonry multiplied by the desired number, depending on the size of the brick.
7
Once you found out the number of bricks necessary for masonry wall a half-brick, multiply that number by 2 (if the wall is planned in the brick), 3 (for wall in half brick) 4 – if the wall is 2 bricks, etc.
