To prepare the puff pastry right not everyone can. And especially the first time it is unlikely to be really light and airy. But really have to give up cooking a variety of Goodies? Of course not. Now many stores offer you to buy ready-made puff pastry. Sometimes it's frozen, and sometimes just chilled. This is perfect for those who are not willing to spend time and energy on cooking.

Frozen dough


Store-bought frozen puff pastry is a very convenient product. It is easy to store, buying several packages and thawing is not at all any problem. The packaging must be removed from the freezer and leave at room tempera round for an hour without opening the packaging.

After about an hour the dough will thaw a bit – it's time to decompress it, to spread out sheets separately from each other on a dry surface, lightly dusted with flour, and cover with a baking paper or a clean, dry cloth, to give finally to reach room temperature. If the dough is twisted into a roll, its the same way you need to uncover and lay on a flat surface.

Chilled dough


If the dough was not frozen, it is simple enough to lay it on the table, sprinkled with flour, cover with a clean dry cloth, wait 10-15 minutes and begin cooking.

Cooking


The puff pastry should be rolled out to obtain a tender and crisp product. Very important to roll out the dough you need in only one direction, to avoid damaging the structure of the foliation. From the resulting reservoir to cut out layers of necessary forms, adding the filling, to form the final product. The dough is nicely browned, on top of it you can lubricate the egg yolk with the addition of melted butter.

If you purchased a Danish pastry, before baking the formed patties, rolls or envelopes should slightly rise at room temperature. They need to be cover with a clean towel and leave for 20-25 minutes. Bake the puff pastry into the oven at a temperature of 220-230оС. Baking time by 10-15 minutes, not more.

Important! Puff pastry should not be too cold or too hot do not end up the oven – baking get compacted and wet.

Envelopes with apples and cinnamon



Ingredients:
- apples - 1 kg
- puff pastry - 1 kg
- sugar - 150 gr
cinnamon - to taste

Preparation:
Wash apples, cut into small pieces, cover with sugar and let stand for 30 minutes. The resulting liquid is drained. Cut the dough into equilateral triangles (with sides approximately 10 cm). For the dough 1-2 teaspoons of apples, sprinkle with sugar and roll into roll. The resulting product is spread on a floured or greased baking sheet and place in a well-heated oven for 15 minutes. Then get convertini from the oven, place in basket and cover with a clean cloth or towel.

Important: the filling must not be shown of the edges of the envelope, otherwise, emerging on the hot pan, it will begin to burn.
