In five months the main child nutrition remains breast milk or formula. On the day the child eats about a kilogram of food, on average, for five feedings a day. It is important that the baby receives the necessary minimum vitamins, especially important of which are D and C.

To introduce solid foods should start with half a teaspoon, carefully watching the reaction and gradually increasing the dose as the child gets used to the new taste, and with the obligatory absence of allergic reactions. Where do you start? And you can start with cereal, juice or smoothie, in its sole discretion.

Kashi

To start complementary feeding with porridge especially good for those children who are slowly gaining weight. The first cereal for your baby can be oat or buckwheat. You can cook at home yourself or buy ready-made porridge in the store. If you decide to cook for your child mess yourself, you have two options: the first is to cook the rump and grind through. The second is to grind cereals into flour and cook. In the second method, the cereal is more homogeneous.

If your child won't bother frequent regurgitation, no problem with weight and development, the first lure there may be one-component and puree. Start by asking the child Solenoe Apple. Take Apple, peeled and scraped the flesh with a teaspoon. Similarly, it is possible to acquaint the child with a banana, pear, apricot, and after all these fruits are introduced to solid foods and Allergy was not followed, can mix flavors.

You can also enter and vegetable purees of broccoli, pumpkin, zucchini. You can prepare it yourself or you can buy ready-made puree in cans.
