The process of cooking fish steaks barbecue
For roasting on the grill it is best to use a fatty fish, tasty steaks, salmon and trout. Choose large specimens – they are the most juicy.
You will need:
- fish 1 kg;
- the juice of half a lemon;
- cream 20% fat 200 ml;
- seasoning for shashlik or any spices;
- onions 2 heads;
- salt.
Fish clean, wash and cut into steaks the thickness of each piece shall be not less than 1.5 cm, otherwise the dish will turn out dry and not tasty enough. Sliced layers of salmon or trout, put in a deep plate.
Slice the onion into rings or half rings and add to the fish. Pour the juice of half a lemon. In principle, you can use orange juice or lime depends on your taste preferences. Put the onion in the fish.
Into the cream, add a seasoning for shashlik or spices you like. Do not forget the salt, but keep in mind that in special spices, which are sold in bags, it may already contain.
Pour in the cream with the seasonings in a bowl of fish and onion. Mix thoroughly and leave for an hour – this will be enough time. Unable to prepare the grill, oiling the grill for cooking steaks.
When everything is prepared, and the fish is marinated, place the steak on the grill and cook over hot coals for 7-10 minutes. Don't forget to turn. Ready steak serve with fresh vegetable salad.
