You will need
- special tables with average density for all grades of fuels and lubricants
Instruction
1
To produce correct recalculation of liters of gasoline in mass units of tons, determine the density of the incoming fuel shipments. To do this, use the special table with the average density for all grades of fuels and lubricants.
2
If you are given the gasoline of grade A-76 or with the trademark AI-80, their average density is equal 0,715 grams per cubic centimeter.
3
In the case that you received with the brand of petrol AI-92, its density is equal to the value 0,735 grams per cubic centimeter.
4
If your party fuel are gasoline brand AI-95 or with the brand of AI-98, the density value can be taken as and 0,750 0,765 grams per cubic centimeter, respectively.
5
Sometimes it is allowed to apply the simplified system of calculating density, if you are coordinating it with the Rostekhnadzor authorities or tax inspection. Under this system, the density of liquefied gas is taken as 0.6 tons per cubic meter, the density of diesel fuel is equivalent to 0.84 tons per cubic meter, and a density for gasoline of any brand – about 0.75 tons per cubic meter. Moreover, the density with the unit of measure in tons per cubic meter identical in density values where the unit of measurement is grams per cubic centimeter.
6
If you want a more accurate measurement of gasoline, use for calculation the density of the incoming fuel invoices. In this case, the density calculation will take into account the air temperature, different from the standard 20 degrees Celsius.
7
Determining density of gasoline, multiply this value by the volume of fuel in liters and translate the received liters of fuel mass unit "ton". To do this, divide the number of gallons on the conversion factor 1000. In the end, you will receive the weight measurement of gasoline in tonnes.
