Ingredients:

  • 1 kg beef or pig meat;
  • 0,5 l dark beer;
  • 6 cloves of garlic;
  • 3 medium carrots;
  • ½ Head cabbage kohlrabi;
  • 2 sweet apples;
  • 3 Bay leaf;
  • 1 pod of red hot pepper;
  • 2 tbsp ground sweet paprika;
  • 1 l of tomato juice;
  • 3 medium onions;
  • salt and pepper;
  • sunflower oil.

Preparation:

  1. Carrot peel and chop along with the kohlrabi cubes. If this cabbage, replace it not worth it, better to exclude from the recipe.
  2. Pour oil into a cast iron frying pan (cauldron) and a good warm up.
  3. Onions clean, chop, put in hot oil and fry until Golden, stirring occasionally.
  4. When the onion becomes Golden, it needs to be topped up with tomato juice, preferably home-cooked, and season with ground sweet paprika.
  5. The tomato mass to be mixed thoroughly. Then put in it the cubes of carrots and cabbage, kohlrabi, bring to boil and simmer until soft.
  6. Meanwhile wash the meat and cut into small pieces. Note that for this goulash you can use beef and pork in the ratio of 1:1.
  7. The pieces of meat to put in the cauldron to the vegetables and stew all together for 30-40 minutes. During this time the meat should be fully cooked.
  8. After half an hour the apples should be peeled, cut into large cubes and put in the cauldron to the vegetables with the meat. If apples home, they can not be cleaned.
  9. After the apples in the cauldron to send a pod of hot pepper, Bay leaves and garlic. Dress it with salt and pepper, pour beer and cook until cooked ingredients. As a rule, after adding the beer brewing process takes no more than 10-15 minutes.
