1
Grates are of two types: with a single plane and the legs are set over coals using the legs. Food it turns over with a fork or special forceps. The second type is the two-plane closing with the handle. Handles are usually made of wood or latex so when you turn the grid not to burn your hands. The grill grids have the rings for fixing the lattice planes, as well as "antennae" to secure the grate on the grill.
2
The material from which is made the grid plays an important role in food preparation:
— Nickel-plated wire. Such lattices cheap, but if you damage the top layer of harmful substances from the wire can get into the food you prepare;
— from wire with non-stick coating. Such lattices are also quite cheap. But when cooking her food coverage works out, and impurities of the metal will also get into food and can cause serious poisoning of the body;
— stainless steel. Such lattices will cost more expensive than their above counterparts, but for your health this material is the safest.
3
The types of plane lattices. If flushed the grate you are cooking on a frying pan, two-plane lattice turns on the grill along with placed in her food. They are:
— for meat — a flat, densely pressing small pieces of meat;
— for the chicken — very large grids. They can put chicken carcass, not portioning it into small pieces: simply cut and expand the poultry. This is the universal grid, which is suitable for the preparation of all dishes;
— for fish — elongated shape in the form of fish;
— for the sausages — in the form of a special shape which tightly holds a large number of frankfurters;
— for cooking vegetables — the perforated grid.
4
Lattice are divided by sizes and shapes. They are square, round, rectangular and oval. Choosing the size, consider how many servings you will have to cook.
5
Determine the price of the material and the size of the lattice grill. Large and high-quality grid are expensive, but they will last more than one season.
