Instruction
1
Determine whether it is a fault caused by swelling of electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. The symptoms are the following: the hiss, the nature of which varies depending on the nature of the image on the screen, power off while the display is too light or too dark scenes.
2
If the fault is different, podvelka monitor professional repair. Do the same, if the unit is under warranty.
3
If the failure symptoms that caused swelling of the capacitors, there is, to remove to disassemble the monitor. Put down something soft, for example, a thick binder of major Newspapers. Unplug the monitor from the network and the computer. Remove it from the stand. Wait a few minutes. Put the camera face down on the Newspapers. Be careful not to break the screen. Even a small crack that is not visible under the polarizers, can make unusable the entire matrix.
4
Loosen all the screws located on the rear cover of the monitor. If they are different lengths, remember or note which ones are where it should be. Disconnect the latches and remove the monitor cover.
5
Under the hood you will find an electronic device under a metal cover, and a ribbon cable going to the sensor and the wires that connected speakers (if any) and Board with buttons. Be careful not to damage the ribbon cable matrix.
6
Unscrew all the screws holding the metal cover and the screws on the VGA and DVI. Slide the cover along the guide, then remove it.
7
Disconnect all cables from the power supply, sketching out which one was connected where, and what side.
8
Remove the screws securing the power supply. Remove it without touching its elements. Discharge all capacitors, designed for a voltage exceeding 100 V, regardless of whether they are swollen or not.
9
Make a list of the electrolytic capacitors that are swollen. Make a note of their capacity, working voltage, quantity.
10
Purchase capacitors with similar parameters swollen, necessary for their replacement amount.
11
Replace the capacitors with the correct polarity. Assemble monitor in reverse order. Use caution when connecting the power supply cables. Don't forget to connect any of them. Having assembled the monitor, make sure it is working. Verify that the fault has disappeared.
