First find out what provoked the attack. If it is caused by any allergen (cat hair, pollen, washing powder), then remove it from choking the person.
2
Seat patient in a comfortable position. Loosen the neck and chest from hindering clothing. Provide fresh air.
3
If the patient have any inhalers with them to enter a drug. To do this, remove the cap from the inhaler, turn the canister upside down and shake it a few times. Have the person take a deep breath, place the mouthpiece of the inhaler between your teeth and press on the bottom of the canister during inhalation. After the introduction of the drug, the patient should hold breath for 10 seconds.
4
Teach the patient to breathe according to the following scheme: 2-3 surface of inhalation and exhalation, then a breath-hold for 8-10 seconds, then again 2-3 normal inhalation and exhalation with subsequent breath holding. Continue breathing in this scheme you need to until it is restored. The method is based on the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the breath. Increased concentration of carbon dioxide in the blood through complex mechanisms causing relaxation of the bronchial tubes and restore the airway.
5
While the patient performs breathing exercises, cook him a hot foot bath with mustard. Pour in a bowl of water with a temperature of 45° C and add 2 tablespoons of mustard. Immerse the patient's foot in the basin for 10-15 minutes. Instead of foot baths you can put mustard on the chest or calf muscles. To do this, wet the mustard with hot water and apply to the skin of the chest or calves. Use the bandage to fix the mustard.
6
Give the patient to drink a glass of warm milk with a teaspoon of baking soda. Soda promotes liquefaction of sputum and facilitate its release from the bronchi.
7
If you cannot remove the attack of suffocation, call for medical help.
