In accordance with the current legislation, pregnant women are given maternity leave at 30 weeks of pregnancy if the pregnant woman is carrying more than 1 child, the leave is 28 weeks.
Sick leave and maternity leave shall prepare and issue an obstetrician-gynecologist in the antenatal clinic, where the woman observed the entire pregnancy. To go on sick leave possible, without waiting for leave for pregnancy and childbirth.
If you feel unwell, contact your General practitioner or a gynecologist. The doctor is responsible for the health of the pregnant woman and her unborn child and is concerned that the pregnancy was safely full-term, therefore, sick leave will be discharged at the slightest complaint on the health.
You may be asked to go to the hospital, by Department, where the treatment is carried out at pathologies of pregnancy. Sick leave will draw in the hospital. If you do not plan to go to the hospital, you still are obliged to issue sick leave certificate, irrespective of the form of observation. You must promptly visit the doctor and follow all his instructions.
In the presence of minors under 14 years of age or elderly relatives you have the right to issue sick leave to care for them and not to attend work.
In accordance with the labor law, the employer must give you another vacation before the period of maternity leave, even if you have already used it this year or worked at the company for less than 6 months. You can also write a statement and get up to 30 days of unpaid leave.
Nurturing pregnancy, take all financial responsibility, pass the important things as you can go on sick leave and will not be able to fulfill its obligations. Therefore, it is best to do this in advance.
