Call the main system menu version of Windows 7 , click "start" to set the function display hidden system files and folders and navigate to "control Panel". Open the link in the "appearance and personalization" and expand the "folder options". Select the View tab in the dialog box, scroll to "advanced settings". Apply a check mark in the line "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" and confirm saving the changes by pressing the OK button.

Another way to enable display of hidden system files and folders differs only by calling the desired menu. Expand desktop "My computer" and click "Organize" top service panel of the application window. Select "folder Options" from the drop-down menu of the selected row and select the View tab in the dialog box. Go to "advanced options" and mark the checkbox in the line "Show hidden files, folders, and drives". Save the change by pressing the OK button.

Another method of incorporating the desired functionality is the use of "hot" function keys. Open menu item of the desktop "My computer" and press Alt. Point to "Tools" in the menu and select the item "folder Options". Go to the View tab in the dialog box and apply the checkbox in the row "Show hidden files, folders, and drives". Confirm the selected actions by clicking the OK button.

Please note that changes to hidden system files and folders may cause malfunction of the entire operating system and need a complete reinstallation. Make sure that you have a good idea what and how to change, before editing the selected files.
