Instruction
1
Visit the website of the manufacturer of your TV. Click the "Download" and select needed item in the column "Category". Now specify the type of used TV. It should be noted that the device with conventional LCD and LED panels belong to different types.
2
Select the exact model of TV you are using. Click the "Downloads and documentation" and wait for the creation of the list of available files.
3
Go to submenu "Firmware" and download the latest firmware for your TV. After you download the files, prepare the USB drive. It is better to use normal USB flash drive but not external hard drive. This will facilitate the scanning device.
4
Format the flash drive using the FAT32 file system. Some will work with NTFS, but it is better not to risk it. Run the downloaded file, which is a self-extracting archive. Specify the directory where the files will be extracted.
5
Now copy the unzipped folders and files in the root directory of the USB drive. Safely remove the stick. Turn on the TV and connect the drive to an available USB port. Disconnect all external devices including the antenna cable and connector HDMI.
6
If the TV automatically detects the available firmware on the drive, a box will appear. Just click "Yes".
7
If not, use the remote control to open the menu "firmware Update". Specify the port number to which you connected the flash drive and wait for the scan drive. Confirm to start the process of firmware update.
8
After completing all necessary procedures, the TV may automatically shut off. Re-enable the device, test it and remove the flash drive.
