Open the Windows start menu by clicking the mouse on the "start" button or by pressing either of the two Win buttons on your keyboard. Find the link "control Panel" in Windows XP it is placed in "settings", and in later editions of the OS it is visible immediately after opening the main menu. Run the panel.

In Windows 7 control Panel you can access through the standard file Manager of Windows Explorer. Run it by double-clicking on the icon "My computer" or by pressing the hotkey Win + E. the Link "Open control panel" in the application window placed below the address bar, closer to the right side - click it.

Click "System and security" in control Panel. On the page that the result of this action opens, find the words "administrative tools" - click it and the task run a set of administration utilities for the operating system on your computer will be solved.

In Windows 7, you can reduce the number of steps in this procedure. Open the main menu and in the "search programs and files" box, type all three letters "ADM". Immediately after this you will get a search result with a list of links, the topmost of which will be "administrative tools" - click it and start the same window as the previous step.

There is an alternative method that can be applied in any of the common versions of Windows today. It uses a standard dialog box run programs - this is the window that is launched by selecting "Run" in the main menu of the operating system. In recent OS versions this link is removed from the main menu, but the dialog can still be invoked using hot keys - hit Ctrl + R to run it.

Type (or copy and paste) in a single input field of the opened dialog control admintools, and click OK (or press Enter). The result will be running all the same window with a set of administration utilities.
