Go to settings of your Samsung Galaxy by selecting the "Settings" icon, which is located in the main menu of the device. Update Android software can also be done with a computer. Install the Samsung PC Kies, download it from the official Samsung website. After installation, connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable that came in one package with the device. When you select a connection method select "Media Mode" on the phone screen.

Run PC Kies in the system. After search is finished, your program will automatically check for new versions of the software for your device. If updates are available you will see a notification after closing which will start downloading and installing a new version of Android.
