Instruction
1
Get Internet access using any kind of "ground" connection. Connect to the Internet by any available means: using modem Dial-up, GPRS or 3G, leased lines, DSL, etc.
2
Using an existing connection, gather information about the satellite providers that provide the service of access to Internet name and positioning of their satellites, coverage maps signals, parameters of transponders. Check the coverage map, check whether your area is in the range of the signals.

The result of the collection of information should be a list with the names of providers names and parameters of satellites transponders, the signals from which are available in your area.
3
Select specific provider and the satellite (transponder).
So your antenna could easily receive the signal from the satellite, it should not be closed to him by any obstacles (houses, trees, etc.)
To determine the possibility of receiving the signal from a particular satellite, use the free program Satellite Antenna Alignment. Enter into the program the coordinates of your home (town or village) and satellite. In response to the input, the program will give data on the location of the satellite relative to your house – its azimuth, angle of elevation above the horizon, etc. Using this data, check whether there are obstacles in the signal path from the satellite to your antenna.
If you find that you can receive a signal from several satellites of various service providers, choose that option which will be most preferable in respect of tariffs.
Making the final selection of a provider and a companion, do not forget to specify the diameter of the antenna required for good reception of the signal (defined on the coverage map) and the required type of LNB (Ku or C-band), depending on the frequency of the transponder signal.
4
Purchase all the necessary equipment.

It includes:

• offset antenna;

• Converter;

• aerial cable;

• network card DVB.

When you select the network card compare the features of existing maps and choose the most appropriate from your point of view.
5
Mount the satellite equipment. Insert the wireless card into the slot of the computer and install the software for it. Install the antenna in a place from which available selected satellite. Attach to the antenna Converter and connect its cable with a network card.
6
Check for satellite signal. Enter the signal parameters: frequency, symbol rate, polarization and the coefficient of redundancy (FEC) – tuner network card. Orient the antenna precisely to the satellite, using data obtained from the program Satellite Antenna Alignment. Proper alignment of the antenna program tuner network card detects the presence of a signal from the satellite. (The exact procedure for working with program tuner is specified in the user guide for each specific network card).
7
Purchase a subscription from the satellite provider. After the satellite signal is received, go to satellite provider and sign up as his client.
After that you will open your personal account, where you will find all necessary further actions information: PID of the signal, IP-addresses, possible types of connections, the instructions for their installation, methods of payment for services, guide to all the necessary settings.
By the selected connection method and paying the required amount for the service, you will receive Internet access via satellite.
