There are two most optimal way of insulating the walls using mineral insulation (Rockwool, Isover, URSA, etc.) and plasterboard, and polystyrene (rigid foam). If in the first case, you only need otchalivai finished plasterboard walls, the second walls have plastering with particular attention to alignment. Insulation of walls by polystyrene foam is considered to be more effective.
2
The first way
Start with papering the walls of high-quality thermal insulation material based on foamed polypropylene. Then proceed to installing the horizontal rails of the metal frame for plasterboard walls. They should be bolted to the floor and ceiling at a distance of 40-60 mm from the wall. In the guide set the profile with a step of 600 mm.

3
The space between the wall and the profile fill with mineral wool insulation. This should be done as thoroughly as possible, avoiding the formation of voids. You can then install the horizontal plank profile with a step of 600 mm. In the end it should be a metal hard frame that will serve as the basis for the drywall sheets.
4
Fasten sheets of drywall on a metal frame. Install the whole sheets first. Their typical size to avoid inconsistencies, if you set the profile in increments of 600 mm, the adhering to level. In the end, do the trimming of the leaves, and attach them to your profile in those places where it is impossible to set entire leaves.
5
Programsuite built the wall, and after drying, seal all junctions or joints with paper tape. After this you need to putty all the joints of the elastic type of gypsum plaster Pufas or Uniflot. This will eliminate the formation of cracks on the wall at the joints.
6
The final stage is to run putty base, and then finishing putty. After this, the walls must be carefully sanded, primed and painted or Wallpaper paste over.
7
The second way
Start with training walls to work. Clean them from the Wallpaper behind putty and paint. Programsuite wall and wait until the surface is dry. Using tile adhesive, glue to the wall plate of polystyrene foam. Advance pick up those plates, which edges have mating grooves – this will allow to avoid the formation of gaps between the slabs.

Useful advice
If the walls have mold, before commencing work, you should first clean the walls and then process them with a special solution for preventing mold.
