To detect overheating of some devices help utility. To determine the temperature of the CPU and graphics card you can use a simple program such as SpeedFan or Speccy. Unfortunately, they are not always able to read information from the temperature sensor, located on the chipset. To determine the settings for this unit use the AIDA (Everest).
2
Download this utility. Install the components of the program Everest. Restart the computer and run the utility. Look in the left column of the tab "Computer" and expand it. Open the menu "Sensor".
3
Look for "Chipset" or MCP and see the temperature. It should be noted that these readings may differ slightly from the actual. If you have devices capable of measuring the temperature of small items, use them.
4
Remove the system cover to access the motherboard. Find heatsink chipset. Usually the motherboard has only two radiator cooling: for CPU and chipset. Clear temperature readings from the bottom of the right radiator. Add to the result of 4-5 degrees Celsius.
5
Please visit the official website of the manufacturer of the system Board installed in your computer. Find the specifications of the chipset and find out the operating temperature range. In that case, if you see overheating, replace the thermal paste between the chipset and heatsink. Naturally, this procedure must be performed only after disconnecting the computer from AC power.
6
After replacing the thermal paste be sure to check the temperature of the chipset. In that case, if the previous procedure did not help significantly to lower the temperature, install an additional cooler.
