You will need
- - 500 grams of catfish (fillet);
- - one egg;
- - 30 ml of milk;
- - four tablespoons of breadcrumbs;
- - vegetable oil;
- - salt and pepper.
Take catfish fillets, wash it carefully in cold water, then dry (for frying it is better to use chilled catfish, but if you have only frozen it before cooking it is necessary to completely defrost during heat treatment not allocated the excess water).
Cut the fish into small pieces, lightly salt them and leave for 15-20 minutes (this will help the fish during cooking to keep the shape and not fall apart). Over time, in a bowl mix the egg with the milk, put in the fish mixture and leave for 30 minutes.
Place frying pan on a high heat, pour oil into it (oil in the pan should be quite a lot, at least four or five millimeters).
In two separate bowls place the flour and breadcrumbs. First catfish pieces, roll in flour (you want the flour to completely cover the fish) and then dip the pieces in egg-milk mixture, then roll them in breadcrumbs and immediately place the fish into the pan.
Catfish fry on high heat until education appetizing Golden brown (cover the pan with a lid or in the process of heat treatment the fish can turn into mush). Fried catfish is ready, serve it with any side dish, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables.
If you want to give the catfish a more spicy taste, after roasting baste the fish with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
