How to cure herpes in a child

"Cold" on the lips of the child – not that other, as a manifestation of a virus of simple herpes. Do not attempt to find the miracle cure for herpes – it, unfortunately, does not exist. As there is no effective treatments for this insidious disease. Herpes can only dim to "preserve" for a while. Accept the fact that once manifested your baby herpes will stay with him for life. At least as long as the immunologists and virologists will find, finally, a means of coping with the disease.

In order to prevent occurrence of the disease follow the rules of personal hygiene when feeding, bathing and games with the child. Don't let relatives and friends to even come close to the baby during a recurrences of herpes (a virus that is the vast majority of adults). If you notice the symptoms of herpes, communicate with the baby, only after scrupulously washing his hands and wearing a gauze bandage. It is proven that infection can occur through airborne droplets.

To prevent the occurrence of symptoms of primary infection with herpes, do not let the baby overheat or SuperCool, give him vitamins (in the form of syrups and pills, and "natural"). Children from one year can be given the tincture of Eleutherococcus – 1 drop for each year of age as a tonic.

If the kid acts up for an unknown reason, carefully look at his face or body rash, and take the necessary measures, in consultation with a specialist. If the child has already learned to speak and complains that he's itchy lips, eyes, or crotch, immediately consult a doctor.

Purchase acyclovir (tablets), "Zovirax" (acyclovir the same, but in the form of cream) and other medicines as directed by your pediatrician. Read the instructions very carefully, as the drugs help with herpes, quite a lot of side effects (nausea, diarrhea, headache, convulsions and even coma). However, children up to 2 years usage: 2.5 tablets, divided into 5 meals throughout the day (acyclovir) or 0.5 ribbon of cream ("Zovirax"), squeezed from a tube (4 times a day). These drugs should be given within 5 days.

Consult with a specialist regarding herbs which in combination with other drugs, too little to give the baby. However, particularly useful during the manifestations of the virus herpes aloe juice or Kalanchoe, which can lubricate the sponge or even give a little to drink. Dosage: 2.5 ml of juice, from 1 to 3 to 5 ml, from 3 to 6 – 10ml, 6 to 9 – 15 ml 9-12 – 15-30 ml, 12 – 30-50 ml.

If the disease is severe, the child chokes and/or he has a fever, call an Ambulance and require immediate hospitalization.
