Of course, this only applies to a limited period of time. If the body for a long time does not receive the necessary nutrients and vitamins, it affects the health most disastrous, however, short-term starvation under certain rules and proper exit from this state is not harmful to a healthy organism.
Daily fasting once a week is optimal, but in order to notice the positive effect it should be carried out regularly for at least several months.


Contraindications to therapeutic fasting


Even the daily fasting is absolutely contraindicated for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding, diabetics, people with gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer, those who have diagnosed cancer, tuberculosis, kidney stones and purulent inflammation of the internal organs.

To abstain from fasting is also for people suffering from ischemic or hypertensive heart disease, arrhythmia and other cardiovascular diseases.

It is not recommended to starve and in the period of intensive sport or physical activity.

Conduct fasting


Choose one day a week when you eat only pure drinking water, such as boiled or distilled. You can drink mineral water without gas in such quantity that the daily rate was 1.5 – 2 liters.

The first time will be especially hard. By the end of the day there is a weakness and begins to feel dizzy, so try to avoid any physical and psychological stress, refrain from massage, sauna and swimming pool.
