How to adjust the telescopic sight

For effective use in conjunction with optical sight rifle require adjustment, allowing to correlate the distance to the target correction parameters. Zeroing of the sight - the process is quite entertaining, especially for those who loves and appreciates their weapons.

Instruction

After installation of the sight on the rifle, sighting need to start with a distance of 50 meters. Set at this distance, the target and fix the rifle so that with open sight to bring it accurately to the target point.

When the adjusting screws place the crosshair of the optical sight is exactly the point at which the induced open sight.

Carry out a test shot.

Repeat the procedure, removing the target at 100, 200 and 300 meters, recording for each distance the tick marks on the adjustment screws of the sight.

If necessary, visually note the difference between the position of the crosshair over a shorter distance and shot at a greater distance. It may be useful in a situation when adjustment of the sight may not be time.
