Modern optical mice are wired and wireless. To connect wired mouse to the computer, select the store the mouse with a USB input. Insert the device into the USB port of your computer and get to work. Wired mouse does not require the installation of special software.

Wireless mouse wired are much more mobile: they can be used at a distance of several meters from the computer, thus not getting tangled in wires. However, these devices have small disadvantages. Wireless mice operate on batteries or battery inserted in the mouse. Due to lower power consumption, the mouse sensitivity is reduced. Besides, you should constantly monitor the battery level in the mouse: power can be lost at the most inopportune moment.

Before operating the wireless mouse, you need to install a special driver system laptop. Insert the installation disc into the computer's disc drive. The driver disk is sold together with a mouse.

After the system recognizes the disk, it will suggest installing the program. Agree with all the requirements of the system and install drivers, without changing anything in the settings. Press the "Set" and "OK" when querying the system.

When the mouse driver will be installed, insert the USB transmitter to the mouse port of the computer. Wait until the system recognizes the external device.

Turn on the "On" button on your mouse. It instantly connects to the transmitter and will help you to control your laptop.

If your computer has Bluetooth, you can use a wireless Bluetooth mouse. It will work as well from its own battery, but the connection to the laptop carried out via Bluetooth communication.
