Causes and symptoms of stagnation of lymph in the body
Stagnation of lymph, or lymphedema is a condition caused by the violation of lymphatic drainage and accumulation in the tissue interstitial fluid. Lymphedema leads to increased permeability and rupture of lymphatic capillaries, but at the same time leads to the formation in the blood vessels of protein coagulants - blood clots. Lymph causes chronic edema, tissue hypoxia, disruption of water and electrolyte balance, and metabolic, degenerative and sclerotic changes.
The most typical symptoms of lymphatic congestion are:
- swelling of the face and extremities;
bags under the eyes;
cellulite;
- chronic sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses);
- susceptibility to colds;
- point of inflammation of the skin.
Lymphedema can be caused by infectious and parasitic invasions, high blood pressure, injuries and skin diseases, tumors, radiation therapy.
The consequences of stagnation of lymph and its purification
With stagnation in the lymphatic system causes accumulation of harmful substances – toxins, which the body needs to get rid of. This lymphedema is accompanied by an increased burden on a number of internal organs, particularly the liver, kidneys and intestines. To remove toxins you must provide good drainage and the flow of interstitial fluid.
Cleansing of the lymph is indicated for such conditions as:
- inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs: cystitis, adnexitis, endometritis;
- allergic lesions of the skin: atopic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, eczema;
viral and bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract;
- endocrine pathology, primarily thyroid disease, obesity and diabetes;
- violations of the liver and intestine and, as a consequence, insufficient detoxification of the body.
There are a number of techniques for cleansing the lymphatic system that involve the diet, eating fresh fruits and vegetables and their juices in a specific pattern, use of infusions of medicinal herbs. Choose the method of purification is necessary after the consultation with the doctor.
