How to clean carpet with baking soda

Carpet is a wonderful piece of design that make the interior of the house warm and cozy. But like any floor covering, it needs regular cleaning. Alternative household chemicals are folk remedies for cleaning carpets that will not discolor paint, will not damage the pile.

1. Even regular cleaning of flooring with a vacuum cleaner doesn't save it from stains and dirt. A good way to clean household carpets and rugs is ordinary baking soda. It perfectly removes dirt from all types of carpets, including natural wool and long-haired. This substance is non-toxic, does not cause allergies, is able to return to cover the original color.
2. If the carpet is not too dirty, do the dry cleaning. Mix the baking soda with a few drops of aromatic oil and sprinkle on the surface then RUB it with a damp cloth in a pile and leave it for a while. After 30-40 minutes, collect the dirt with a vacuum cleaner. For cleaning bright carpet mix the baking soda with corn starch in a ratio of 1:1, add flavoring and spread the mixture on the carpet and then vacuum.
3. In the case when the flooring is heavily contaminated, will help the club soda. Take a half Cup of sodium bicarbonate, dissolve in five litres of water and spray the liquid on the carpet or the carpet. Soak about 1-1. 5 hours, the mixture is absorbed, then carefully collect the dirty baking soda with a vacuum cleaner.
