Pick a bike that will be installing the engine. The design of the machine may be very different. The main requirement for the bike to be roadworthy and have a strong frame, because it would have to carry the additional load. It is advisable to equip your car with more efficient wheels (from a mountain bike or moped).

Identify the type of engine that you will use in your design. It can be lightweight petrol engine derived from a moped (type D-5 or D-6) or electric motor, powered by a rechargeable battery. Depending on your choice can be different and the location of the motor. The gasoline engine is convenient to mount on the frame above the carriage, and the motor can optionally be strengthened at the rear of the bike, where is the trunk.

Fabricate transmission, which will transmit the force from the motor shaft on the driving (rear) axle of the bike. The petrol engine provides a chain transmission; to do this, equip the rear axle gear of appropriate size. Securely attach the engine to the frame of the bike with metal clamps with bolts and nuts. Finally, contemplate for a bike with a motor quality brake system. As your vehicle, in principle, can reach speeds that exceed the capabilities of a conventional Bicycle, equip it as the front and rear brakes. Will not prevent also having an electric audio signal. The safety of movement first.
