Marinade in Oriental style
The dish acquired a recognizable distinctive Oriental aroma and flavor, enough to marinate it in a mixture of sesame oil and soy sauce. These two ingredients are most typical for most Asian dishes. Try to prepare the marinade, taking:
- ½ Cup of sesame oil;
- 3 tablespoons light soy sauce;
- ½ Cup rice vinegar;
- ¼ Cup of brown sugar;
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger;
- 2 cloves of minced garlic;
- ¼ Cup chopped cilantro.
Mix all the ingredients together, whisking them lightly until partial dissolution of sugar. Marinate about a pound of fish and put it in the fridge for 40-60 minutes. The smaller chopped pieces of fish, the less it should marinate. If it is too long to marinate delicate fish in an acidic environment, it can be ready before you put it on the grill.
Choose for marinating dishes from preagent materials. It is best to take a glass bowl, or plastic container to brine the fish in a thick plastic bag with zip-fastener.
