The history and methods of making beverages



Tan and ayran is an ancient fermented milk drinks. Their home is Armenia and now the modern Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria. Initially, these drinks did nomads to maintain strength in long journeys. They soured milk was added a ferment.
