Very small pin holes, try to cover the soap. Such measures will help you for a few days to postpone the main repair.

Seal small cracks with epoxy glue and fiberglass. If possible, remove the tank and completely drain it of gasoline. Thoroughly clean the leaky spot, dry.

Strip the place of gluing with sandpaper and degrease with acetone, again air dry. Prepare a patch of fiberglass, cut it into identical pieces so that they protrude a few inches beyond the edges of the slit.

Spread epoxy glue (preferably two-component) and over the surface of the fuel tank in place of bonding. Soak glue a patch and attach it to the tank. To the patch village more tightly, attach it to a plastic bag and a good "beat" with your hand or a stiff brush.

After setting for 15-20 minutes, similarly apply a second coat of fiberglass cloth and wait until dry. The total number of layers is three or four. When gluing the last layer of cloth, add a little aluminum powder or other plasticizer.

Small hole try to seal cold welding. Remove the leaky tank and thoroughly degrease the surface. RUB the place of gluing with sandpaper and close up with glue called "Cold welding". Try to grab the edge a few inches.

Large opening or hole in the gas tank sealed. Try to stop the leak from the gas tank, drain all the gasoline. Degrease the surface with acetone and sand. Prepare the patch, it just degrease and abrade with emery.
