Protected landscape area pálava offers numerous Hiking trails, a region almost untouched nature.
In the immediate vicinity is also many other attractions. One of them is the castle of Valtice, which at one time housed the princely family of Liechtenstein. The magnificent Palace complex was rebuilt many times, especially expressive are the reconstruction in the Renaissance style and the Baroque, which gave the castle its present appearance.
Near the castle there are also picturesque gardens, ideal for relaxation. More attractive, however, is a visit to the dungeons of the Chateau Valtice. In them you will find the national wine centre, where you can enjoy tasting the best wines of the Czech Republic.
Speaking of guilt, not to mention the nearby Mikulov. It is the centre of the eponymous wine region, and visitors there awaits scientific wine trail with many interesting stops, from which you will not only learn about the history and present of local wine, but also about the surrounding area of Mikulov. The responsibility of the traveler, of course, must also be a visit to one of the famous cellars and a vineyard tour.
