Cheese sauce
Soft types of cheese you can prepare a flavored thick sauce, which taste admirably suited for potatoes.
You will need:
- 200 g of cheese;
- 2 tbsp flour;
- 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup;
- 2 tablespoons of oil;
- 1 tbsp. milk;
- pepper;
Sol.
A small piece of butter melt on a slow fire in a saucepan. Add the flour and ketchup and stir to combine for 2 minutes. Continue to stir, gradually pour in the milk sauce. Grate cheese on fine grater or cut into cubes and portions add to the mix. Season with pepper and salt.
A delicate Bechamel sauce
Bechamel sauce accentuate the taste of mashed potatoes and variety to everyday food. It can be used as a gravy and serve directly to the mash.
Ingredients for sauce:
- 3-4 tbsp of oil;
- onions;
- 2 tbsp flour;
- 1/2 Cup beef broth;
- 1 tbsp. milk or cream;
- ground black pepper.
In a skillet melt the butter and gently pour the flour. Fry it to Golden state. In another bowl saute the finely chopped onion. Combine flour with onion and slowly pour in the broth and milk. If you add sour cream instead of milk, the sauce will be more thick. Salt, add spices, bring the sauce to a boil, remember to stir periodically.
Sour cream sauce
Sour cream sauce would be a great addition to mashed potatoes. Cook it is not difficult, the taste was more impressive, add a little mayonnaise, garlic and fresh dill.
You will need:
- 1 pickled cucumber;
- 3 tbsp sour cream;
- garlic;
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- dill;
- ground black pepper;

Wash and shake the dill. Clean the garlic, finely chop along with the dill. In the tank connect the sour cream with the mayonnaise. To the resulting mixture add the garlic with the dill, salt and pepper. On a fine grater grate the cucumber pickles and add to the sauce. Only use the pickles, not pickled. As a result, the sauce will gain a spicy tinge.
Tomato-garlic sauce
Mashed potatoes are not only a healthy dish but also very tasty. If you add any spicy sauce will turn out quite different.
Necessary ingredients for sauce:
- 250 g tomato;
- 2 tbsp tomato paste;
- celery;
- garlic;
- 1 tbsp olive oil;
- pepper;
Sol.
Make a cross incision in the tomatoes and pour them with boiling water for 1 minute. Then rinse them with cold water, remove the skin and cut into slices. Finely chop the celery and garlic. In preheated pan with olive oil fry the tomatoes. After 5 minutes add the tomato paste, celery, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, not forgetting to stir.
