"Kars" is prescribed for toxic liver damage, alcoholic and nonalcoholic hepatic steatosis, chronic hepatitis non-viral origin and status post hepatitis. Also, the product can be used in the complex treatment of liver cirrhosis and as a preventive treatment for chronic administration of highly toxic drugs.

Dragee "Karsil" should be taken orally before meals with water. In the treatment of severe liver damage daily dose of "Kars" is 420 g: 4 pills 3 times a day. In milder cases appoint 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. The same dosage is used during maintenance therapy. When you assign preventive treatment take 2-3 pills a day. The duration of application of the "Kars" is determined individually, but it is to obtain the optimal therapeutic effect it should be not less than 3 months.

"Kars" is not prescribed in case of hypersensitivity to components and not used for the treatment of children under 12 years of age. The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended because clinical studies on its safety and effectiveness for this category of patients was carried out.

Because of the potential estrogen-like actions "Karsil" be wary appoint patients with hormonal disorders, as well as tumor and tumor-like diseases (uterine fibroids, endometriosis, cancer of the ovaries, uterus, mammary gland, tumors of the prostate gland). In appointing the drug must be considered, that in its composition as an auxiliary component contains wheat starch which is not recommended for patients with celiac disease.

When using "Kars", consider that its active ingredients can reduce the effectiveness of oral hormonal contraceptives and drugs used in hormone replacement therapy. Patients taking drugs such as alprazolam, diazepam, lovastatin, ketoconazole and vinblastine should be borne in mind that "Karsil" can enhance their effect.

As indicated in the instructions, "Karsil" is well tolerated by patients and rarely causes side effects. However, in some cases while taking the drug may nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia, rash, and itching. In patients with vestibular disorders "Karsil" may cause them aggravation. In very rare cases the drug may trigger the development of alopecia.
