Analogues "Belasica"



The drug "Belosalic" is produced by pharmaceutical company Bеlupo d.d. (Slovenia). An analogue of this tool – "Akriderm", it is produced by Russian firm "Akrihin". You can find Polish counterpart - "Betaderm" (made in "Jelfa S. A") and "Betaseal" the company "Bosnalijek" (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Ointment "Balearic" and "Betaseal" contain betamethasone dipropionate (glucocorticosteroid), and salicylic acid.

Part of the "Akriderm", in addition to betamethasone dipropionate, is vaseline oil, sodium sulfite. "Betaderm" contains in its composition of sulfate is also gentamicin - broad-spectrum antibiotic. These drugs have anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and antiallergic effect. They have rapid action, decrease inflammation, relieve pain, irritation and prevent the development of bacterial and fungal infections.

How to use the drug "Belosalic" and its analogs



"Belosalic" and its analogues are prescribed for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, ichthyosis, lupus erythematosus, diaper rash. A small amount of ointment should be applied to diseased skin, gently rubbing. The drug is used twice a day. Duration of therapy is 3-4 weeks. Children under the age of twelve years "Belosalic" and analogs are used only under medical supervision. These drugs rarely show side-effects which are reversible and are of a slight character. Patients may develop hypersensitivity reactions (burning, itching, redness), other side effects include acne, hypopigmentation, hypertrichosis, skin atrophy, secondary infections of the skin.
Permanent with prolonged use of ointment "Belosalic" and its analogues can be evidenced by systemic side effects that are associated with the suppression of the functions of the adrenal cortex.


Ointment "Belosalic" and analogs are contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the drug component, tuberculosis of the skin, chickenpox, skin manifestations of syphilis, open wounds, viral infections of the skin, acne vulgaris, skin postvaccinal manifestations, venous ulcers, rosacea, in children up to 6 months. It is possible to use "Balearica" and its analogues in pregnancy, but should not be long to use the drug, it is recommended to apply it on small areas of the skin. Lactation these ointments is prescribed under strict indications, the funds can be applied before feeding at the breast.
