Recipe Korean salad made of fern
To cook a traditional Korean salad made of fern you will need:
- 200 g salted fern;
- 2 heads of onions;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander semen;
- 1 bunch cilantro;
- 2 tbsp soy sauce;
- 8 tbsp of vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp red pepper;
- ½ Tsp black pepper
For this dish is the perfect salty fern, but if not, you can use dried. Before cooking be sure to soak the fern (salted or dried) in hot boiled water and leave it for 10 hours. After this time, fold the fern in a colander and let the water drain out.
Then pour in a pot of cold water and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, drop in a pot of ferns and boil for 5-10 minutes. Then again fold the fern in a colander.
Pour into a deep pan of vegetable oil, put on a slow fire and warm it. Fry in butter thinly sliced onions until Golden. Once the onions are browned and acquire a nice color, add coriander, black and red pepper. Give everything a good stir and put in pan fern.
Pour soy sauce, add the chopped garlic, season with salt to taste and mix again. Fern fry for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then cover skillet, reduce heat to low and put out a salad of fern further 5 minutes.

Salad recipe "Spring" of the fern
Although salads are generally prepared from dried or salted fern, that is prepared for the future, to collect this plant only in the spring or early summer, as food use only the young leaves of a fern. So salads with the fern often create a spring mood. To prepare salad "Spring", it is necessary to take:
200 g of a fern;
- 3 hard-boiled eggs;
- 2 fresh cucumber;
- 1 bell pepper;
- 1 onions;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- vegetable oil.
Soak salted fern in hot water for 4 hours. Then drain the water and soak the fern another 2 hours in new water. Onion peel and cut into thin rings. Pour into the pan vegetable oil, warm it and saute the onion until soft. Then put in the pan soaked fern and sauté it with onions for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Add to the pan the chopped garlic cloves and chopped straw Bulgarian pepper. Stir well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then remove the pan from the fire.
Mix sauteed with garlic onion, fern, bell pepper, finely diced fresh cucumbers, and chopped eggs. Stir all the components. Salad "Spring" is brought to the table warm.
