You will need
- - chicken or soup mix – 400 g;
- - smoked sausage – 200 g;
- - chopped (but not chopped) peas – 1.5 cups;
- - potatoes – 4 PCs.;
- - carrots – 1 PC.;
- - onion – 1 PC.;
- - tomato paste – 1 tbsp;
- - Bay leaf;
- - salt to taste.
Peas wash well and fill with cold water for a couple of hours to have it ready faster during cooking. Usually this procedure is done with the whole peas. Crushed can't dunk.
Wash the chicken, cut into serving pieces and put to boil. The broth don't forget to salt them. Time the chicken is cooked - 30-40 minutes. Then filter the broth (optional). This is done in order to give it transparency, but in a pea soup that would still be unnoticed.
Cut into cubes the potatoes and carrots, onions - small half rings. In the broth add the peas, cook until soft. Then add vegetables and cook until cooked all the ingredients.
In parallel, we cut the sausage half rings and lightly fry them on the pan until a slight Golden brown. Because sausages thin slicing is possible only this. If you choose a regular smoked sausage, slice it with wedges or cubes. After roasting add the sausage to the soup, put the tomato paste, Bay leaf and allow to simmer for another five minutes. If you want the peas were not whole, and were more like mashed potatoes, you should bring it until tender and then add remaining ingredients.
Can be done separately, sauté sausages, onion, carrots and tomato paste. In this case, the soup will be greasy, but no less tasty.
