Some add-ins may already be installed on your computer without your knowledge. It may be the case if the add-in is part of another program you installed earlier. Some add-ons can be installed together with the Windows operating system.

Latest, most popular, webbrowser, Internet Explorer 7 and 8. To enable add-ons in Internet Explorer 7, run the browser by double clicking on the shortcut on the desktop. Or click the "start" button and in the list select Internet Explorer. In the top menu click "Tools" in the drop-down list, select "Manage add-ons and click Enable or disable add-ons".

On the button bar on the left, in the "Display" click on the arrow and select "add-onsused by Internet Explorer" to you was shown all add-ons.

Select the add-on or group of add-ins that you need to include. In the lower field displays the name of the add-in (plugin), version, file date, digital signature (not at all). Also here you are encouraged to search for add-ons by using a search provider by default.

In the bottom field, bottom right you will see a button "Add", press to activate the add-in. Either right-click on the desired add-in and click Enable. Then click "OK".

In Internet Explorer 8. In the top menu select "Tools" and then select "add-ins". On the button bar on the left, in the "Display" click on the arrow and select "All add-ons".

Select the add-on or group of add-ins that you want to include. Click on the "Insert" in the lower field or right mouse key on the item "Enable". Repeat this step for each add-in included. The status of the add-in will change for a corresponding. Then click "Close".
