In order to put you on the housing list for improved housing conditions, you must contact your district with a set of required documents. In various regions of Russia, standards of living space per person varies. Therefore, the housing Commission in your region should determine if you need improvement of living conditions or not.

The administration write a statement about the desire to get on the waiting list for improved housing conditions. The application form is issued on the spot, as it established sample.

About the decision you will be informed in writing within 1 month. If you do not agree with the decision, you can appeal it in accordance with the legally established procedure.

Some categories of citizens are entitled to the extraordinary housing:
- children–orphans;
- the victims on the Chernobyl NPP;
- tenants of dilapidated houses;
- participants of great Patriotic war;
- single mothers;
- families in which twins were born;
- citizens living in the apartment with chronic.These people are not put in the General queue, and provide a separate. In the allocation of housing once they receive it.

Citizens have the right to remove from the queue under the following circumstances: change of residence, while self-improvement of living conditions, while receiving gratuitous housing subsidies, and the detection of fraud in the registration, at the request of the citizens, if the citizens deliberately worsened their housing conditions.
