"Essentiale Forte" restores damaged liver cells and their functions, normalizes metabolism, stops the formation of connective tissue. The drug is prescribed in the following diseases: chronic hepatitis, fatty degeneration, psoriasis, cirrhosis, toxic hepatic injuries (alcohol, drugs, heavy metals), alcoholic degeneration, and liver injury in radiation, toxemia of pregnancy.
"Essentiale Forte" is available in the capsule form for oral administration, solution for injection. Before using the drug should consult a doctor. Adults and adolescents with the age of twelve years, usually 2 capsules (600 mg) of the drug 2-3 times a day. After 3-4 weeks of use "Essentiale Forte" you should go on a maintenance dose (one tablet two to three times a day). Capsules can be drunk during or after meals. Swallow them whole and drink a small amount of water. The duration of intake of the drug is not limited, it should be at least two to three months. To achieve a positive effect the drug must take 2 to 10 months. The taking "Essentiale Forte" is not exempt from the necessity of ending the use of substances that harm the liver (eg, alcohol).
A medicament in the form of a solution for injection is prescribed to adults and children over twelve years at a dose of 250 mg (5 ml) 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is determined individually. For cultivation of the drug should not be used electrolyte solutions. It must be administered intravenously, slowly. Contraindicated to enter "Essentiale Forte" in the muscle, the injection may cause severe irritation.
When using solution "Essentiale Forte" it cannot be mixed in the same syringe with other medications.
Contraindications, side effects "Essentiale Forte"
It is not recommended to use "Essentiale Forte" in case of hypersensitivity to the drug. The remedy is contraindicated in newborn and premature children. During pregnancy, you should use the drug under medical supervision.
In case you need money in a period of lactation should stop breastfeeding during treatment.
By taking "Essentiale Forte" may cause the following side effects: nausea, bloating, discomfort in the abdomen, and diarrhea. In some cases, there may be an allergic reaction, hives, itching, dermatitis. In most cases, negative manifestations disappear after reducing the dose of the drug.
